Note: This process is for iDempiere deployed at IUB not don’t follow standardised approach.

  1. Open Calender Year and Period window of iDempiere and create a new calender.
  2. After that create a new Year agaisnt that calender.
  3. Then create Periods by giving exact Months and Dates of Fiscal Year.
  4. Then open GL Budget window and create new Budget.
  5. Then add a new period in zperiod table using any DBMS (Navicat).
  6. Create/Update COA using Account Element window, if required.
  7. Post Budget using GL Fund (Alpha) window.
  8. Then create Charge Heads using Generate Charges process.
  9. Post Amount using Charge window.

Your budget is posted and charge heads are ready to be affected.
